It is intended to revive the format of the vinyls by improving their quality and capacity without modifying the original appearance.

All the fashions come back, and in some occasions, with the advantage under the arm, as it is the case of HD vinyl or high definition. Although this analog format never died with many disadvantages, CDs or streaming services do not have them.
Therefore, an Austrian entrepreneur wants to enhance the positive aspects of vinyl to overcome, at least among the most demanding with the sound and quality of music.
Vinyl in high definition would have higher sound quality, would play with more volume and could include more songs per disc, all this without changing their external appearance or increase their thickness. In this way, they would be compatible with the current turntables.
The process of creating a vinyl on high involves creating a topographic map in 3D on the surface and representing the digital audio. To 'print' this map on the vinyl, a laser system is used. This is not very different from how you previously worked with vinyls and CDs, but the difference lies in the precision of the music map and the laser.
Other advantages of this format would be its durability: the first Master copy in ceramics would make identical copies in the first ten thousand uses, so that more vinyls could be made with a lower cost in the long term.
The objective of its creator is to have the technology and manufacturing instruments sufficiently advanced and established to release the first vinyl in high definition in 2019. This could increase even more sales of vinyl since collectors and the most exquisite ears will appreciate have a superior support in your hands and keep your music longer.
