We have made a compilation of the 10 most expensive vinyls in the world.


The Beatles have topped the list of the most valuable vinyl records with purchase option. The band reaches the first place with its White Album, of which these days are fulfilled 48 years of its release. . They are joined by the albums of the Sex Pistols, Queen and Led Zeppelin.


A very rare copy of the Beatles from the LP "White Album", which had been owned by drummer Ringo Starr sold for $ 790,000 in 2015.


The single of the year 1963 'Love Me Do' is reported to be worth 80,000 pounds sterling, because it is only one of the pressing of it. There are also versions of the LP 'Please Please Me', which can reach up to 7,500 pounds


The list is the following:


1. White Album of the Beatles originally owned by Ringo Starr - 730,876 £

Ringo Starr sold his copy of the 'White Album', last year in an auction for 910,000, which was the first to be numbered, the other members of the Beatles had the second, third and fourth of the presses in the first edition.


2. That'll Be The Day / In Spite Of All The Danger The Quarrymen - £ 100,000

It is the original of 1958. It is the only known copy of the pre-Beatles album recorded to an electric store by McCartney, Lennon and Harrison with drummer Colin Hanton and pianist John Duff Lowe.

  

3. Love me do 'from the Beatles - £ 80,500.

There is only one known acetate pressed on one side, unedited version with original clapper. Hence the huge price.

  

4. Music For Supermarkets Jean Michel Jarre - £ 10,000 - £ 30,000

In 1983, Jarre makes only 1 copy of this record and then destroyed the master tapes.

  

5. Do I Love You (Indeed I Do) Wilson - £ 25,000

Only two originals were made. They have never left the Tamla Motown soul branch label.

  

6. God Save the Queen by Sex Pistols - £ 12,000

Before they started on the A & M label, about 300 of them were pressed.

 

7. Would You Believe Billy Nichols - 10,000 £

Only 100 copies of the psych / folk / rock album of the year 60 were produced.

  

8. Please Please Me by The Beatles - £ 7,500

It is important when you buy Beatles albums to check the numbers of the matrix that are cut into the vinyl slot. I escaped. These numbers will let you find out what pressure you have. Often these numbers make the difference between a £ 10 vinyl and a £ 1000 treasure

 

9. Hearted Woman Blues by Robert Johnson - £ 7,000
